create and make

My latest slicing and pasting project: unique one-off 4x6" collages on high quality, machine cut mat board in various colors. I like the heft and feel the thick mat gives each piece. The back side is blank, so they may be sent as fancy postcards and they also easily slip into standard size frames.

I'm having great fun searching for images and composing each card. And after concentrating on larger pieces the last couple of months, the size of these cuties has sparked fresh creativity.

I plan on creating a few dozen of the cards over the next weeks to feature along with all my other bounty for the UniqueLA Summer Show.
