As a collage artist I tend not to throw any paper away–it's potential material for the next artwork. This makes for a somewhat unruly studio, but once I get digging around in the stacks, I always find treats. Recently came across the original 2 pieces from what has become my logo:
a serif-happy S and legs.

Atwater of my eye

Pics from a morning walk from my beloved Silver Lake to nearby Atwater Village with my beloved pup, iPhone in hand. Obvs.

I take my iPhone on every walk not just for very important documentation (my dog, walking up stairs!), but because I am addicted to the RunKeeper app. Must know my pace and mileage and time. Must walk 100 miles a month. We totally could be on each other's Street Team, keep track of each other's walking and running adventures, egg each other on, get competitive. My handle is: sachabee / Sacha Baumann.

Let's go for a swim! I've been reading with intrigue about renting canoes and paddling down the river. Dogs allowed? Also, the pedestrian part of this bridge BITES. Hello, Department of Transpo--can something be done so walkers like me feel safe?

How awesome is this guy. He gave me an excellent, sexy wink after I snapped the pic. Meat.

Meaux-Meaux totally photo-bombing the graff shot. There are few of these on Glendale Blvd--I've spied them in front of Canelé, this one at Atwater Village Farm, and one at Proof Bakery. Nice businesses = nice graffiti?

Post picture perfect, outside the new kid on the block, Bon Vivant.
