Big news, brunching, Berrics, and a bathing suit: favorites week ending 07.02.17

The big news of the week! Super delighted to embark on this new endeavor. Hell yeah!

This graffiti is a daily favorite when I'm walking the pup. Did a little pre-gaming in the courtyard with some friends before walking down to Battle of the Berrics. Super fun.

The next day I enjoyed a walk through at Hauser Wirth with the curator of an exhibition of Monika Sosnowska's sculpture. Then treated myself to a delicious brunch at Manuela in the gallery's courtyard. 

Checked out Night Gallery's group show. Loved the big yellow, black, and white work by Bjorn Copeland, my old studio neighbor.

Couldn't help myself and took yet another picture of this facade. of this building next door to CB1—I love it. 1919 is the year my grandpa was born.

When I got back home, we packed up the car and headed to the desert for a getaway. Stopped at a very sleepy Ralph's for some ice and I did my version of a Joel Sternfeld photograph.
