Love a an artful buff, this one is gradient style.

I've been taking the bus to work since the beginning of the year and have been witnessing daily people trying to cross South Santa Fe at Violet. It's nuts that there is no traffic control on this increasingly popular stretch for businesses and pedistrians in the Arts District. (Listening, Councilmember Huizar + Mayor Garcetti? Cuz I've been tweeting at you about it.)

The fresh graffiti visuals are strong in the neighborhood—digging this reflection!

I just can't help myself—if there is a ledge or a cubby, I want to take a picture of Meaux Meaux on it or in it. #dtlawalkabout

Great night at Charlie James Gallery for the opening reception of Jennifer Dalton's exhibition: Participation Trophy. (Jen's work is the blog post's thumbnail.)
