Arting to do

Wonderful little trio of paintings by Jen Dalton hanging in the office at Charlie James Gallery, where I worked last Saturday. There are always treasures in the office. Don't miss the Glenn Goldberg exhibition in the main gallery--the show is up through October 15 (I'll be there that day too!).

In anticipation of having a Saturday late afternoon / evening free for the first time in a couple of weeks I made a list of shows I'd like to see:

Toba Khedoori at LACMA
Diana Thater and Fiona Banner at 1301PE
Doug Aitken at MOCA Geffen (which I still call the Temporary Contemporary, because I am old)
Clint Woodsides at These Days (Just down the street from where I live, no excuse to miss this show of undercover cars!)
Rafa Esparza and Timo Fahler at Club Pro
Maggie Lee and Wu Tsang at 356 Mission
Fort Greene group show at Venus
Sally Bruno at Chimento Contemporary
group show plus David Adamo and Devin Farrand at the newly opened IBID Gallery
Karon Davis at Wilding Cran
Barbara T. Smith at The Box
James Case-Leal at Parrasch Heijnen
Sojourner Truth Parsons and Augustus Thompson at Night Gallery
Abraham Cruzvillegas at Regen Projects
Jessica Eaton at M+B
Human Condition group show opening at the hospital on S Western
Helen Frankenthaler at Gagosian
London Calling group show at The Getty

Just a wee, small list. Post puppy parkour walk (the new United States Courthouse is now a favorite stop) and some domestic fussing I'll set-out to see some art. And then Sunday I'll be working at The Broad; it's the last day of the stellar Cindy Sherman exhibition. Weekends are awesome.
