Eyes Wide Open

For well over a year Ms. Meaux and I have been tromping by The Broad on our #dtlawalkabout  neighborhood exploring ritual. Their "ALL EYES ON GRAND AVENUE" is a super clever campaign for sassing up a construction fence, featuring big eyes from a range of artists in their massive collection.

I can't resist a good dog photo op, so often we pause. Sit, stay, good dog. Click.

Or a good boyfriend with dog photo op.

The museum opens officially to the public on September 20—just 7 weeks away! It's a date I am keenly aware of and excited for because I will not only be a regular patron to The Broad, but I am also a proud employee. For the past month I've been training as a Visitor Services Associate, a dream job for this contemporary art lover and #DTLA dweller. And: I get to walk to work.

(Sorry pup, no non-service pitties allowed inside. But we'll still walk by all the time.)
