The iPod had a nervous breakdown this morning and refused to do anything but glare"do not disconnect" at me for hours.

Was it retaliation for downloading "Pink Moon"? I tried to explain that sometimes a chick has the need to listen to a sentimental song, even if it was used in a car ad.

After much coaxing it got itself all fixed up and a fancy new warranty from Apple.

I rewarded it for snapping out of the funk by finally downloading Belle & Sebastian's "Dear Catastrophe Waitress". We're back on good terms now.
