Tiny little fractures

Yes, 'The Sick Rose' may be melodramatic for a breakup, but how about this one I found in a little frame in the back of a drawer from forever and ever ago.

Wild Nights--Wild Nights!
Were I with thee
Wild Nights should be
Our luxury!

Futile--the Winds--
To a Heart in port--
Done with the Compass--
Done with the Chart!

Rowing in Eden--
Ah, the Sea!
Might I but moor--Tonight--
in Thee!

(from the lonely Miss Dickinson)

Who was I longing for (or who was longing for me)? Who knows. Anyway, it's not all poetry, I also found ticket stubs to Laker games (before they became so melodramatic) and funny old comics and coins from that backpacking trip to Europe and a Hans Solo trading card and a mixtape from 1982 (punk rock in grade school! thanks for the intro to music, Uncle Craig).
