Book making is pleasure.

After a couple of hours of wandering around the Los Angeles Art Book Fair I came home and made my own display from various zines, papers, and cards I had gathered.

While at the fair I was especially into checking out all the size variations and binding techniques of the self published works.

a display at LAABF at MOCA. Really enjoyed all the variations.

I'm usually so women-centric, its been fun to take a boy break.

I also totally dig the different papers used in the books—cheap copy paper, vellum, sandpaper, wallpaper, tissue paper, newsprint. So much variety of textures, opaqueness, and of course color.

Boys frolicking in water is my new zine in the making.

For my own self publishing pleasure I'm currently making a boys frolicking in water zine and then I'm moving on to a text based booklet—less collage,  more graphic.

So much to make, make, make. Let's all make.
