PUBLICATIONS
I've been making zines, newspapers, books, and other printed matter since I was a kid. At eight years old, I was spending my piggy-bank money on Xeroxes, and a few years later I was publishing a one-page newspaper that I'd tack to telephone poles around town (inside plastic bags because it was Alaska and really rainy).
Those early self-publishing adventures are at the root of FULL BLEDE. More recently, I began STEP and REPEAT, an ongoing photography publication featuring my street photographs of Downtown Los Angeles.
I've also become slightly obsessed with making stickers.

STEP and REPEAT
Featured by Carolina Miranda for the Los Angeles Times—"Sacha Halona Baumann makes a portrait of downtown LA one (literal) step at a time"—STEP and REPEAT is an ongoing series of photography books featuring images made during my frequent walks around downtown Los Angeles, dating back to 2014. Each volume is: 480 pages, full color, 6 x 9 inches, includes an extensive index, and is awesome.
A limited edition zine of original collages using a technique I refer to as "cut ups," carefully slicing and rearranging images and then gluing them back together again. Each copy is signed and numbered and digitally printed on high quality thick, glossy stock.

A limited edition zine of original collages created from images found in the July 2014 issue of ARTFORUM. The collages feature boys and beaches. The collages were scanned and then digitally printed on high quality thick, glossy stock. The zine has a cover printed on clear transparency film and hand-stitched binding.
